It is no secret to those who know me - I am not fit and I do not exercise, oh and I have never run in my life. Except maybe to grab the last Tim Tam.
But things are about to change!
Did you know being active makes us happier as well as being good for our physical health. It instantly improves our mood and can even lift us out of depression.
I love anything that makes me happy - especially on those completely shitty days when you struggle to get out of bed.
And I got to thinking - I am getting older, I have two kids and a Hubby so I should probably start looking after my physical health a bit better too, as well as my emotional well being.
So I have decided to attempt the Couch to 5km challenge. You can check it out here.
Wednesday was my first attempt - (insert hysterical laughter here). It was frickin' hard!
Today is Friday, my shins are still killing me and I think I may have dislocated my dodgy hip. But I am going to attempt the Week 1 Day 2 workout - while secretly hoping it rains by the time my parents get here to mind the kids so I can get out of the house.
