Trendy Tuesday - Black nail polish

Sticking with the beauty trend theme from last week, I am attempting to rock black nail polish.

I have always liked painting my nails.

Way back in the day, my BFF and I used to watch episodes of Party of Five, drink coffee, smoke cigarettes and paint our nails. It was our little ritual.

According to Harpers Bazaar, when it came to nails at the New York shows it was all about black vamp shades.

Once again I looked for celebrity inspiration and found the following. If it is good enough for Selena Gomez, then it is good enough for me.



I wasn't too sure how to rock black nail polish, apart from painting it on my nails and going about my business!

    Yes! I adore dark plum burgundy. One of my all time favourite colours. This is my second manicure post for tonight - Twitchy posted about polish as well. Maybe it's a sign I should treat myself to a mani tomoz?

      Definitely treat yourself. Recently I got a Shellac manicure and it was lovely.

    I love dark nails- yours look fab by the way :) I am addicted to a navy one and a purple one I have that is so dark it is almost black:)

    i have black nails at the moment - well, really really dark grey, but with enough of a sparkle that they're not a dull black.
    My trick is to make sure your nails are short - I think long nails are tacky looking, and especially don't suit really dark polish.

    I love Chanel's Vamp or Rouge Noir - I'm definitely a child of the 90s! I've never owned it, or even know if they make it any more - but I just love that colour.

    Gotta say Sam you kinda are rocking it - if I did that though everyone around me would probably think I had bruised them all!!!!
