Trendy Tuesday - Big sunglasses

This Trendy Tuesday, it is all about BIG sunglasses!

I love big, chunky sunglasses. The bigger, the better I say! I am also partial to Dolce and Gabbana. I bought my first pair of D&G's in Italy in 2005 and my second pair in Hawaii in 2011.

The trend of big sunglasses has been around for a while. And let's face it, if it is good enough for Brangelina, then it is good enough for me!

I don't have any recent pictures of me rocking my Dolce & Gabbana's or big sunnies in general, so I had to scan the archives for these ones.

Do you love big sunnies? How many pairs do you have?

  1. Shoes, bags and sunglasses are my 'thing' so yes I have a few pairs. But as I have a smallish face, I can't go too big otherwise I just look like a weird black-eyed fly!

    1. ohhh, I love bags too. I love big chunky bags. I need a new bag but am waiting until our little man is a bit older and doesn't need so much stuff every time we go out!

  2. I do love big sunnies. I only have one pair, but would be lost without them. I think they instantly make you look good :)

  3. ohhhhh absolutely! the bigger, blacker the better! I am usually a "one-pair-at-a-time" person. But my sister has an addiction. It is amazing how many pairs she can buy! she posted some of them on instagram recently - trying to decide which ones to take with her overseas http://instagram.com/schembri. Have a great day x

  4. I'm more of a 'colourful sunnies' person - as long as the frames are bright red/purple/pink/whatever, I'm good. Same with bags, I don't own one single black or brown bag, it's got to be bright! Those sunnies look great on you :)

    1. When I first get them I am always so careful. Then I see one of the kids wearing them and I know that is it!

  7. I don't have any big sunnies but K certainly does - I couldn't tell you how many pairs but she would have to have a few !
I have tried them on on a few occasions but always feel a bit like a bug and tend to go smaller - now that I have prescription sunnies, I tend to keep them more 'normal' size !!!
    Have the best day !

  8. Yep! I am a fan. Got my Vogue ones which are getting scuffed so right now I have a cheap pair that are even bigger just to give Vogue a rest for a while. I am off to Hawaii tomorrow. May just scout for a new pair!

  9. I have big sunnies, but they give me a rash on my nose, SHIT, because they are bloody REAL Pradas baby! GRRRRR. However, I now wear my big framed Oakleys (yes I'm dropping labels because I used to work in a sunglasses shop).
My big O's make me look like a bogan - my Prada ones don't but they give me a rash! ROCK - HARD PLACE!

    1. A rash! WTF!
I had Oakleys when I was younger. Loved them. Everyone else hated them and I loved them!

  10. I remember I used to hate them, but now I love them. Not too big for me though. If they are giant I cannot pull them off
