According to the 2011 census, I nearly tick all the boxes for being the average Aussie!
The Australian Bureau of Statistics states that today's average Australian.....
- was born in Australia.......tick
- lives with her husband and two kids........tick
- in a three bedroom house........tick
- in a suburb of one of Australia's capital cities........tick
- is 37 years old.........I will be this year.
- has lived in this house for five years........only one
- has a mortgage........tick
- pays $1800 a month on the mortgage.....I wish!
So there you have it - you are looking at Mrs Average Aussie.
